2022 Lelands Spring Classic Auction

Secretariat Archives memorabilia and select items from the personal collection of Hall of Fame jockey Ron Turcotte is now available for bidding in the 2022 Lelands Spring Classic Auction.

This collection of racing treasures offers several Penny Chenery-signed items, including a 1973 Kentucky Derby mini shadowbox display with original admission ticket, program, limited julep glass, and a scarce and unusual panoramic image of Secretariat on the racetrack at now defunct Arlington Park. The auction also features Ron Turcotte's own original vintage bronze medallion from the inaugural Eclipse Awards ceremony honoring Meadow Stable's Riva Ridge as 1971 Juvenile Champion and other artifacts from his personal collection.

Please note, this auction will be conducted in a "Last Man Standing" format in which initial opening bids will be accepted online until the closing date of Saturday, June. 11 at 10 p.m. EDT. Upon closing, anyone who has placed a bid during the preceding month-long open bidding period may continue to privately bid in a "shoot-out" against the current high bidder, or any others who placed initial bids, until one last bidder remains -- and the auction is then officially ended. For more detailed information on the bidding process, visit Lelands.com.

The auction is now closed, thank you for bidding!
