Many Secretariat enthusiasts are surprised to learn that the Meadow Stable champion was stabled in Florida at Hialeah Park between his two-year-old and three-year old racing campaigns.

This rare color photo from December of 1972 amidst a backdrop of palm trees is one of the few documenting the colt's tropical training. Already a star in the making, the chestnut colt is shown wearing his custom embroidered blue workout cloth with a relaxed Ron Turcotte in the irons and exercise rider Jim Gaffney holding the shank. Hand-signed in gold by both Turcotte and the late Mr. Gaffney, this collectible treasure measures 5" x 7" with limited quantities available.
