Secretariat.com is proud to announce the August 24 double feature screenings of the recently released film documentaries "Secretariat's Jockey, Ron Turcotte" and "Penny & Red, the Life of Secretariat's Owner" at the National Museum of Racing in Saratoga Springs, New York.
The evening screening event will feature the two distinct and acclaimed films, both sharing intimate views of Secretariat's most legendary connections as well as rare historical and previously unreleased footage.
The double feature will be held at the National Museum's own theater, located at 191 Union Ave. across from the racetrack in the heart of Saratoga Springs. The evening's festivities kick-off with an optional VIP reception at 6:00 pm where guests are invited to join Mr. Turcotte and other racing celebrities for refreshments and a complimentary autograph session prior to the film screenings.
Secretariat's Jockey, Ron Turcotte, produced by the National Film Board of Canada, is expected to start at 7:00 pm. and the 75 minute film will be followed by a Q & A session with Mr. Turcotte. Penny & Red, the Life of Secretariat's Owner, the 60 minute film produced by John Tweedy's Landlocked Films, will begin at approximately 9:00 pm.
Tickets for the evening's double feature film screening can be purchased for $20 per person, with screenings and VIP reception tickets offered at $50 each. Event ticket sales will benefit the National Museum and the non-profit Secretariat Foundation established by Mrs. Chenery to assist equine welfare in the areas of research, rehabilitation, retirement and recognition.

PLEASE NOTE: No tickets will be mailed. The actual tickets to the double feature will only be available at the National Museum via will-call beginning at 4:30 pm on day of the event.
