In conjunction with the 2021 Secretariat Festival we are proud to offer this private Legacy tour of historic Claiborne Farm - one of America's most prominent horse breeding properties where the great champion lived out his days following his legendary racing career.
The Secretariat-centric tour includes viewing the grave site of the 1973 Triple Crown champion with visits to the breeding barn where he was conceive and to his revered stall in the famed Stallion Barn. The barn currently houses the internationally accomplished stallion War Front, champions Blame and Runhappy, and promising young sires Catholic Boy and War of Will among others. The Legacy tour includes transportation via motor coach ride from the Kenucky Horse Park and the expertise of racing historian Steve Haskin as a guide. Tour departs the Horse Park at 8:30 a.m. and returns approximately 10:30 a.m.
All Festival Claiborne Farm Tour participants will receive a complimentary Secretariat gift as a keepsake of their visit.
