The rarely seen May 7, 1972 Kentucky Derby winner's circle composite photo honors the day Riva Ridge became one of the few horses in Derby history to win the race "wire to wire" (meaning on the lead throughout the entire race) in the excellent time of 2:01 4/5. The photo features jockey Ron Turcotte in the famous blue and white Meadow silks doffing his cap aboard the garlanded Riva Ridge in the Churchill Downs Winners Circle while trusted groom Eddie Sweat (sporting the couture of the times) holds the reins.
Available in a choice of three sizes with the option of being hand-signed by jockey Ron Turcotte.
