With over 70 years of experience between them, Ms. Cantrell is nationally recognized for her meticulous detailed work that captures the essence and movement of her subjects while Ms. Boydston is renowned for her unique painting and patina techniques. Pieces of their work reside throughout the country including the lobbies of the Central Intelligence Agency and the Air Force Academy. Their work in the equine form are as merited as they are valuable with their highly coveted collaborations in great demand throughout the art community. The bronze sculpture sits on a base adorned with two brass plaques. The front plaque contains the general information of Secretariat and his pedigree while the reverse plaque is individually engraved with the specific edition number. Weighing nearly 13 pounds, the substantial sculpture matches the significance of its subject.
