For years Dell Hancock has been documenting the splendor and heritage of the bluegrass in her vivid and poignant custom photography. And as the co-owner of Claiborne Farm, Ms. Hancock has been intimately connected with all the equine residents at the historic farm in Paris, Kentucky, including the champion.... Secretariat. It was Dell's brother Seth, who originally handled Secretariat's record-breaking syndication in the amount of $6,080,000 in 1973. During the 16 years the legendary Triple Crown winner spent as a stallion at Claiborne, Dell had the enviable opportunity to see the Triple Crown hero and photograph him on numerous occasions.

Here, Dell captures "Big Red" in all his vibrant glory with the release of one of her favorite images of Secretariat as he gallops in his private pasture. With the wind in his mane, his gleaming chestnut coat aglow and muscles rippling in the sun, Secretariat is the embodiment of health and happiness in his deserved retirement. Each of Hancock's acclaimed photographic images is printed direct from the original negative and individually inspected to maintainin photography standards of the highest quality. This emotion-evoking photo is available in three custom print sizes with the option of being signed by the artist. All proceeds from the sale of this photo will benefit selected charities within the Secretariat Foundation mission.

"Secretariat was just such a striking, impressive horse. I was in the right place at the right time." — Dell Hancock
