When Christopher Chenery established the thoroughbred horsebreeding farm known as "The Meadow" in Caroline County, Virginia in the 1936, it initiated a legacy of historic proportion, ultimately resulting in a Triple Crown champion. Beginning with Christopher's vision and later under the guidance of his daughter Penny, the Meadow and its legendary racing stable became the benchmark for treasured bloodlines and breeding excellence within the racing industry.

The conversation-starting sign was inspired by the actual black and white historic bronze marker near the entrance to the farm on State Route 30 in Doswell, Va. Recognizing the Meadow as the birthplace of Secretariat and other notable thoroughbreds, the historic keepsake makes a great addition to any racing fan's "Wall of Fame" or memorabilia collection. Measures a generous 16" x 16" in embossed aluminum and available with option of being hand-signed by the "First Lady of Racing," Penny Chenery.
