This dual offering commemorating the late great writer and sports journalist Bill Nack offers racing enthusiasts a double dose of their favorite Secretariat storyteller.
The first auction item offers Nack's definitive narrative chronicling Secretariat and the Meadow Stable and their quest for the Triple Crown. This increasingly scarce book, now out of print in the retail book market, was personally hand-signed and inscribed on the interior title page by the esteemed author just weeks before his untimely death in April.
The second item in the pairing features the framed photographic print of Secretariat's victory in the 1972 Hopeful Stakes containing Nack's unmistakable eloquent and descriptive prose of the race. Best of all this collectible keepsake is hand-signed in gold by the author and also contains the bonus autograph of Big Red's Hall of Fame Jockey Ron Turcotte. The image is double-matted within a classic black matte hardwood frame measuring 18" x 24" in total. Each auction piece accompanied by individual Certificate of Authenticity.
